I started writing this as the Express and Iron go into overtime tied at 25. This has been a disappointing season for the Express thus far at 1-6, but there is a reason for excitement, JOHNNY FOOTBALL is in Memphis! I know, I know Johnny has his haters and rightfully so, he's made mistakes and was immature. But I believe his time in Canada and a few years away from the game have made him realize what he needed to change to have a chance to get back on the gridiron. I'll tell you way Memphis should go to Johnny to keep their playoff hopes alive.\n\nJust as I am writing this Memphis wins! Even though Johnny was on the bench I still believe they should turn to him in the final game. To start off, Manziel is the most accomplished out of quarterbacks on the Express. A former Heisman trophy winner, first round pick in the NFL, and an explosive playmaker. Manziel's ability to break out of the pocket and use his legs make him even more important to a unit that has trouble making plays on offense. I believe he has really turned around, supporting his teammates getting an offense to rally around him and staying quiet off the field. He will prove he made the right decision, leaving the CFL and coming to the new and exciting AAF. After sixty- eight exciting yards in limited time he leaves fans wanting more. Not to mention who will fans want to watch more, Brandon Silvers? Or Johnny Manziel?\n\nNow I know there are people who think he has had too many chances and has blown every chance he has, it's fair to say that he has made mistakes but he is the first one to admit he should've handled things differently. Admittedly I've always been a fan of his and I can't wait until he leads an offense and gets back to the big league! #StartManziel.
