Harrell Jackson, an 18-year-old athlete from Omaha, Nebraska, was hit and killed by a vehicle early 19 November morning at a busy highway interchange.
Unfortunately, Jackson Jr. was walking in the low visibility traffic lane of the Highway 2 on-ramp when he was hit by a westbound vehicle.

Standing at 5’8″ and weighing 170 lbs, Harrell had an impressive 40-yard dash time of 4.9 seconds, a vertical jump of 34 inches, and a bench press max of 290 lbs.
In addition to football, Harrell was also a dedicated wrestler and track athlete who competed at the varsity level in both sports.
He also played for WA Warren Academy before joining Millard West in 2021.

She could never have imagined that only a few months later, she and her husband, Rell Jackson, would be mourning the loss of their son.

Kelly, originally from Omaha, Nebraska, now lives in Omaha with her family.

Harrell grew up with two brothers and a sister, Ahnysia, who is 21. She deeply admired his achievements as a sportsman and looked up to him as a role model.
On the day of his victory, Ahnysia expressed how incredibly proud she was of Harrell and how blessed she felt to be his sister.
She mentioned how much he had grown mentally over the last two years and had become an incredible person.
She ended by saying she loved him and that he was the coolest.

Harrell’s Instagram page is flooded with heartfelt condolences as friends, teammates, and the community share their grief and support following his untimely passing.
Harrell was an incredible athlete, but more considerately, he was a bright and kind-hearted person who impacted everyone who knew him.
