The Mayflower Eagles Football team, where CJ played as wide receiver and center back, also poured their heartfelt condolence and prayer to his family by stating,
Our Mayflower football family is heartbroken at the loss of one of our former players. Please keep the family of CJ Clemons in your thoughts and prayers, especially his brother Jamar Anderson who was also a former football player for the Eagles.

The South Conway County School District Superintendent Shawn Halbrook said the district is committed to supporting the students and staff as they process the loss of CJ.
He also said counseling services would be available on campus, with students encouraged to contact trusted teachers, counselors, and administrators.
CJ’s family has yet to reveal the funeral service and visitation time to celebrate CJ’s life.
However, Clemons will be remembered forever for his unforgettable contributions to the Morrilton High School basketball team and the Mayflower Eagles football team.
