Brian explained that he wanted to make a positive change for future generations, announcing his decision to file a federal lawsuit against the NFL.
His suit showed that the New York Giants decided to hire Brian Daboll as head coach before interviewing any minority candidates.
The Giants and Brian’s interview was scheduled for January 27, but they had allegedly decided on Brian by January 23.
Moreover, his lawsuit alleged that the Dolphins’ owner, Stephen Ross, pressured him to deliberately lose games, offering him $100,000 for each game he lost. Thus, the Dolphins get better draft picks for the following season.
Steve Wilks, a former Arizona Cardinals head coach, and Ray Horton, a long-time NFL assistant, joined the lawsuit against the league on April 8, 2022.
