Sadly, his untimely demise left the whole community mourning. The RYHA community will deeply miss him. His passion for hockey and his positive impact on young athletes will be remembered fondly.

We lost a member of our hockey family suddenly this week. Coach Mike was Brooks’ head coach this season, alongside Landon Brolin as an assistant.
Coach Mike always had a smile. You could tell his greatest joy was seeing kids on the ice having fun.
This is an unimaginable loss for fellow hockey mom Laura, and their two sons Sully (squirt), and Rowan (mite). Maynard’s Restaurant of Rogers is kind enough to donate a portion of proceeds to the Betker Family.
