Haley was going 35 mph, but the truck was speeding over 50 mph. After passing her, the truck collided with the other vehicle. Lacey believes the driver was going too fast, possibly contributing to losing control.

I was right behind the crash and that truck passed me going way faster than necessary! I was going 35 and he was going well over 50. After he passed me he hit her! She may have lost control but he was going way too fast!
