We were simply just trying to get to the car, we weren’t trying to obstruct justice or anything like that.

The Olympic sprinter was accused of domestic violence by strangulation and strong-arm robbery that allegedly occurred in May 2024.

In that case, he is accused of getting violent with his estranged wife, Angelica Taylor, with whom Karley shares three children.
Kerley is accused of assaulting Angelica Taylor during a dispute over her social media interaction. According to the reports, Taylor claimed that Kerley approached her aggressively, prompting her to punch him in self-defense.
During the recent bond court hearing, Angelica Taylor expressed her intent to proceed with pressing charges against Kerley, stating,
