Matheus Luiz Nunes, a professional footballer for Manchester City and the Portugal national team, was arrested on September 8, 2024, in Madrid, Spain, on theft charges.
According to reports, the National Police arrested the 26 year-old footballer from La Riviera nightclub in Madrid for stealing another man’s mobile phone.
Furthermore, Matheus Nunes stated that the alleged victim apparently tried to take a picture of him without his consent, which made him snatch the man’s phone in the bathroom of the club.
