A Facebook post claiming Mark Henry’s d*ath surfaced on Sunday, September 1, 2024. It featured his picture, and the caption read, “Uncle Mark passed away.”
The post, which included a link to an article, was shared from a fake Facebook account of fellow WWE star Bill Goldberg.
Though it was not an official announcement, the post garnered much attention, and condolences started pouring in.
Eventually, the false news reached the two-time world champion himself. The 53-year-old dispelled the fake news without wasting time.
