She won the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and earned an AEW Women’s World Championship match against Toni Storm. On August 25, 2024, she defeated her and became the AEW Women’s World Champion for the first time.

Mariah had spoken fondly of her mother, even proudly announcing that she would be in attendance to support her.
