Lexie Hull And Her Twin Sister Were Competitive Since Childhood
Lexie and Lacie Hull have spent nearly every major life milestone together.
They were there from dribbling a basketball as five-year-olds to lifting the NCAA Championship trophy as Stanford Cardinal teammates in 2021.
Lexie shared,
“Our entire lives we’ve always done everything together. We played soccer together, volleyball, and of course, basketball. Every single day.”

Their twin connection was deeply ingrained early on, shaped partly by their father, Jason Hull, a twin himself and former NCAA Division III All-American basketball player at Whitworth University.
That legacy of sibling competitiveness became a driving force for the Hull sisters.
Lexie explained,
“It made us that much better. If one of us was outside practicing, the other would be out there too—neither of us wanted to get left behind.”

Their mother, Jaime, even separated them into different elementary school classes to manage their ultra-competitive nature.
But that competition only fueled their mutual success.
The Twin Sisters Made A Championship Run At Stanford
When it came time for college recruitment, Lexie and Lacie remained united.
Stanford University offered both a top-tier education and a powerhouse women’s basketball program.
The Hull sisters jumped at the opportunity, making an immediate impact.
While Lexie earned accolades like a three-time All-Pac-12 selection and the Senior CLASS Award and was eventually drafted sixth overall in the 2022 WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever, Lacie quietly carved her own impressive path.
She was a standout passer and defender, earning Pac-12 All-Defensive Honorable Mention twice and helping Stanford to multiple Pac-12 titles and the NCAA Championship in 2021.
Lacie said,
“There is that willingness to take risks. I think it all comes down to the expectation and the familiarity of having played with each other for so long.”

Despite her undeniable skill and resume, Lacie made a surprising decision not to pursue professional basketball.
Lacie Hull Has Chosen A Career Outside Of Basketball & Is Currently Employed At Tesla
After graduating, Lacie Hull transitioned into the corporate world.
She began her career with eBay in Austin, Texas, holding several roles in category management before joining Tesla in January 2025 as a Program Manager.
Her decision not to continue in basketball remains somewhat unexplained, but her success off the court speaks volumes about her versatility and ambition.
Still, the physical separation was an emotional adjustment for the twins.
Lexie said,
“In the fall of our senior year, we knew that our paths were going to change. It wasn’t a big shocking event, it just kind of happened.”
