After committing to Eastern Michigan in June 2024, he formally signed his letter of intent to play for the Eagles in 2025.

In addition, 267Sports rated Noah Knigga as the No. 1958 prospect in the Class of 2025.

He is the No. 184 linebacker in the nation and the No. 44 prospect from the State of Indiana.

Football fans are particularly excited to see how commentators try to say his name during live broadcasts. One Twitter shared the post of Easter Michigan Football and said,

Noah Knigga’s Parents Have A Sports Background

Lawrence Central High School Linebacker Noah Knigga, 18, was born on October 5, 2006, in Indiana, to his father, Ryan Knigga, and his mother, Staci Shipley Knigga.

His father, Ryan Knigga, used to serve as the football coach of Lawrenceburg High School, and her mother was a standout volleyball player.

Ryan Knigga, who attended Indiana State University from 1996 to 2001, lives in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, with his entire family.

According to his Facebook handle, he has been a Business/Technology teacher at Lawrenceburg Community Schools since 2001.

Additionally, Ryan wished his father a happy Father’s Day on June 18, 2017, through Facebook with a caption,

Staci Shipley Knigga has one biological brother, Scott Shipley, who is the director of Curriculum and Instruction at Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation.

She also has one sister named Sharla Shipley Kinsey, who worked at ACNielsen as a substitute teacher at Barrington 220 School District.

However, Sharla passed away in 2022 after suffering from breast cancer.

Ryan Knigga and his entire family are from the United States and hold American nationality and white-American ethnicity.

Ryan Knigga grew up with his twin sister, Natalie Knigga. She played volleyball at Lawrenceburg High School.

She was named MVP of the girl’s Rivertown Classic after the Tigers beat Switzerland County.

Earlier, high school athlete Noah Knigga explained how to pronounce his last name.

Noah and his family sat down for an interview with Robert Griffin III, during which viewers got to know the Kniggas better.

Robert joked by asking if the family had been to Paris, France, referencing Jay-Z and Kanye West’s 2011 track “N***as In Paris.”

In their conversation, Robert asked how to correctly say their last name and the family started it’s pronounced “Ka-nay-guh” instead of how it sounds phonetically like everyone on social media has been saying.

Robert understood the pronunciation and said the family should release t-shirts with the slogan “KNIGGA PLEASE,” which he felt would do well because people thought the last name was pronounced like that.

Noah’s father also revealed that the family has received no slack from people based on their last name.
