Australian professional basketball player Lauren Nicholson is in the spotlight for her recent pregnancy news with partner Jacob Jackomas.
She plays guard for the Sydney Flames but will miss season 25 of the WNBL due to her baby bump.

Lauren Nicholson, aka Loz Nicholson, began her WNBL career as a development player in her hometown and joined Sydney Uni Flames in 2009.
She won gold for Australia at the 2009 FIBA Oceania Under-16 Championship for Women in Brisbane, Australia.
She played for the Flames till 2011 and began her college career at Saint Mary’s College of California in Moraga, California.
Lauren finished her college career and returned to Australia. She was undrafted in 2016 and joined the Sydney Uni Flames for the 2016-17 season.
Moreover, she joined Adelaide Lightning in 2017 and was recognized as the WNBL Defensive Player of the Year for the 2018–19 season.
Later, she headed North and signed with Townsville Fire in 2020 but left it to join Sydney Flames in 2023.

She posted a picture of her friends getting pregnant on August 26, and the next thing you know, she’s pregnant herself.
Lauren gave a sneak peek of her additional member growing inside her with her partner on October 8, 2024.
Jacob and I are incredibly excited to share our baby news with the world and can’t wait to meet our son.

Her whole Hoops Capital organization has been supporting her pregnancy news and is extremely happy for her.
She will miss the 2024-25 season but will be around the Hoops Capital side to return in WNBL26.
Although she won’t play on the court with the girls this year, she’ll support them as much as possible and hopes to join them next season with the Flames.
While we will undoubtedly miss the WNBL’s Defensive Player of the Year, Loz Nicholson, on the court this season, we are incredibly excited for her as she embarks on this new phase of life.

Victoria hopes to see Loz back in the club’s uniform soon. Sydney Flame is currently working on who will replace her in the WNBL25 roster.
Furthermore, Jacob is 44 Year-old as of 2024, and the love birds may have been dated since May 2022.
