Born in Passaic, New Jersey, on November 1, 1944, Linda was the daughter of the late Oswald and Rose (Boyer) Kornhoff.
Linda grew up with her sister Nancy in Lake George, New York. She attended Lake George High School as an excellent student and Tri-Sport Athlete.
She then attended SUNY Oswego, earning a Bachelor of Science in Education, and worked for the Northern Essex Community College Library for over 30 years.
Her passion was playing Pac-Man on the family’s original 1979 Atari 400 computer, where she was hard to beat.
For many years, Linda enjoyed playing bridge with her friends Jane, Sharon, and Priscilla. She was also an avid pro-sports fan who loved watching the Red Sox, Patriots, and Olympic Games.

A longtime resident of Chelmsford, Linda Rose met her husband Richard Sheehan in Lake George in the summer of 1967 and, after dating for a year, tied the knot in 1968.
Later, they moved to Massachusetts, where Linda taught 6th grade, first in Lexington and then in Westford.
Richard and Linda’s most cherished moment was their annual summer vacation at Lake Winnipesaukee.
According to the source, Richard was a commercial real estate broker who worked as an independent contractor for Grubb Ellis.
