Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams Has One Sister Ja’Inna And Two Brothers James Jr. And Jaden

Jameson shares a close bond with his siblings.

Jameson Williams comes from a family of track racers. When he was younger, every morning at 6 a.m., Jameson, his parents, and three siblings would lace up their shoes for a workout.

And, hitting the snooze button was never an option. His family is close-knit and disciplined. They use sports as a way to teach important life lessons.

Highlights

  • Jameson Williams grew up with his two brothers and an older sister.
  • All of the Detroit Lions wide receiver’s siblings ran track in college.
  • The Williams siblings’ parents, James and Tianna Williams, also ran track during their high school and in college.

The NFL wide receiver was born on 26 March 2001 to his father and mother, James and Tianna Williams.

The athlete is one of four children born to his parents. The Williams couple raised all of their children in St. Louis, Missouri.

James and Tianna were accomplished track runners in their own rights. Both of them ran track at St. Louis’ Sumner High School and also in college.

Jameson’s mom and dad are high school sweethearts. They attended high school and college together. They later tied the knot and welcomed four children, James Jr., Ja’Inna, Jameson, and Jaden Williams.

Ja’Inna Williams Is The Only Sister Of Jameson Williams

Ja’Inna Williams is the older sister of the NFL player. She is the only daughter of their parents.

As per the NY Times, she ran track at Wayland Baptist University.

She reached her personal best with 54.81 seconds in the 400 meters, 1:31.87 in the 600 meters, and 2:10.30 in the 800 meters.

James Williams Jr. Is the Eldest Of The Williams Siblings

Jameson’s elder brother, James Williams Jr. is the first child of their parents. He ran track at Northwest Missouri State.

Moreover, James Jr. attended the university, after graduating from Cardinal Ritter High School.

During his collegiate career, he hit his best times with 22.88 seconds in the 200 meters, 49.38 seconds in the 400 meters, 1:25.41 in the 600 meters, and 1:58.13 in the 800 meters.

While all of Jameson’s family members may be track runners, he was always the fastest in his family, and in the St. Louis area.

In an interview with the NY Times, the NFL wide receiver’s elder brother said, “Let’s set the record straight: I beat him in the last race we raced. He was about 12,”

“But he is the fastest out of the four kids. His leg strength, his body length with his fast-twitch mixed together, I mean, it’s a powerful potion as you can see on the field.”

Jameson’s Younger Brother Jaden Also Played Football

The youngest of the Williams siblings, Jaden Williams attended East St. Louis High School and graduated a few years ago.

He is currently attending Wayne State University. And, like his parents and elder siblings, he ran track at Western Texas.

In addition, the youngest Williams also played football at Detroit’s Wayne State University.
