Jacob was named a second-team NJCAA All-American after registering 136 strikeouts in 76 innings pitched.
He participated in the MLB Combine, recording the eighth fastest pitches and averaging 99.8 miles per hour on his fastball.
Moreover, the Milwaukee Brewers selected him in the 63rd round overall in the 2022 MLB draft and assigned him to the Triple-A Nashville Sounds.
On June 12, he was promoted to the major leagues for the first time.
In his debut game, he recorded the fastest pitch thrown by a Brewers pitcher in the Statcast era, topping out at 102.2 MPH, beating the previous record by Tyler McGill.

Jacob Misiorowski’s long-awaited MLB debut was more than just a milestone for the young pitcher. It was a full-blown family celebration.
From the first pitch, his parents, Tom and Crystal Misiorowski, were on the edges of their seats, watching every moment of their son’s big-league introduction.
The stands were packed with support from nearly 30 other family members and friends who made the trip to Milwaukee to witness the occasion.
Similarly, his two grandfathers, one grandmother, his girlfriend, Elle, and his high school coach, Brian Driskell, also attended his debut game.
Most of them proudly wore custom-made T-shirts that read, “Here for The Miz.“
Crystal scrambled to get custom shirts printed just days before Jacob took the mound against the St. Louis Cardinals.
I went to a local print shop in Grain Valley (on Friday) and said, ‘Hey guys, I have this coming up, I don’t know when, but I need to get these shirts printed and I need to do it kind of quick.’ I called them up on Tuesday morning. I said, ‘Hey, can you print that like today? Because I’m leaving tomorrow.’

Despite the short notice, the Misiorowski family made sure they wouldn’t miss this unforgettable moment.
Jacob’s debut was even more special, having his most prominent supporters in the stands. He will forever cherish the memory.
Furthermore, the rising pitcher was asking around the clubhouse for advice about his debut, and the most common answer was “Breathe.”
