However, his family members haven’t revealed his actual death cause. His parents, siblings, wife, three children, close friends, and family survive him.
Dan had two boys and a daughter from his relationship with Erin Donovan Inman.
According to his Facebook profile, they married in March 2013, but his relationship status is separated. He was possibly single at the time of his tragic demise.
Erin studied chemical engineering at the Univeristy of Tulsa. Like Dan, she is also a teacher and has worked as a mathematics teacher at Walnut Grove High School and Rome High School.
Dan was a mountain of a man known for his size and tenacity on the field. He loved being the Georgia Bulldog and was always smiling.
The football coach might scare you to death if you didn’t know him, but inside, he beat the heart of a teddy bear. He went to South View High School as a class of 2002.
Dan was the ideal “good ole boy” off the field. He was able to connect with people of all backgrounds and beliefs.
Nonetheless, the mountain of a man loved his family members and often shared their pictures on social media. He was religious and referred to his children as God’s greatest gifts.

Dan began coaching at Georgia Football in 2012 and became assistant football coach at Valdosta High School in 2015.
In 2016, he joined Central Gwinnett High School as an offensive line coach, and in 2018, he joined Walnut Grove Warrior Football. Similarly, he worked as an offensive line coach at Rome High School.
He was a physical education teacher and offensive line coach at Clarke Central High School, joining on April 7, 2023.
His players often spoke highly of him, appreciating his commitment to their well-being.
