Casey Chaos was born in Trenton, New York, on October 9, 1965. When he was a child of seven years old, his father and mother separated.

After that, the musician moved to Melbourne, Florida, with his mother. His single mother raised him.

Moreover, Casey Chaos was a professional junior skater. From 1975 to 1982, he was touring professionally as a skater.

Casey planned to pursue a career as a professional skater. However, his plan changed in 1982 when fellow skateboarder Duane Peters played him a tape by the band Black Flag.

Casey’s life was forever changed after seeing Black Flag for the first time. He then started his band, Casey and the Stake Punx, around 1883.
