Paul Bissonnette was caught on video in a wild 1v6 fight with a group of drunk patrons outside a CVS.
The Scottsdale Police recently released several clips showing the ex-NHL player confronting the group before things escalated into a physical altercation.
Highlights
- Henry Mesker, John Carroll, William Carroll, Danny Bradley, Edward Jennings, and Sean Daley are in custody for a physical altercation with Bissonnette.
- In the body cam footage, Daley told police he wasn’t aware of the fight involving Bissonnette at Houston’s.
- Bissonnette shared that he took several kicks during the fight and mentioned that his shirt was torn off and lost his shoes in the chaos.
The brawl on November 24th started at Houston’s restaurant, where Bissonnette says the group became aggressive with a staff member.
When Paul Bissonnette tried to defuse the situation, the group turned their attention to him and began attacking.
The altercation moved outside, where Bissonnette managed to land a few hits without a shirt or shoes.
However, the group quickly overwhelmed him, pushing and striking him before he quickly retreated into a nearby CVS.
The video shows the group choosing not to follow him into the store but walking around the area before police arrived.

The six men were all charged with assault, and some also faced disorderly conduct charges, according to court records.
In a separate charge, 29-year-old Sean Daley was accused of possessing a fake military ID after admitting to having one when arrested.
Daley didn’t attend his arraignment on December 10, but his lawyer entered a not-guilty plea for him.
He is set to return to court later this month for another hearing.
In body cam footage, Daley told police that he did not know about the fight involving Bissonnette at Houston’s.
On the other hand, in the cam footage of Bissonnette’s interaction with police after the altercation, he was visibly injured from the fight.
Many Show Respect for Paul Bissonnette But Questioned Where His Friends Were During the Incident
The day after the incident, Bissonnette, 39, posted a video on social media where he said he was attacked by a group of “drunk golfers” while at Houston’s, and the altercation eventually moved to a nearby CVS parking lot.

In response, many people expressed their respect for Bissonnette but also questioned where his friends were during the incident, asking if he was there alone.
Others expressed disappointment in the rest of the restaurant’s staff as they didn’t turn up like Bissonnette and fewer like those who stood and did nothing.
Former NFL player Ross Tucker shared that although he had never met Bissonnette, he greatly respected him.
