Tessa Blanchard is a third-generation professional wrestler. Her father, Tully Arthur Blanchard, and grandfather, Joseph Edgar Blanchard, were wrestlers in their youth.
She was a former Impact World Champion and Impact Knockouts Champion before signing with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA).
She became interested in wrestling during college and attended Highspots Wrestling School in Charlotte in 2013. On June 13, 2014, she competed at Queens of Combat 2.
Tessa won the Super 8 Chick-fight tournament the East Coast Wrestling Association (ECWA) organized on October 11.
She appeared in WWE, making her in-ring debut for NXT in April 2016, and joined Impact Wrestling on April 22, 2018. On January 12, 2020, she became the first woman to win the Impact World Championship.
Tessa returned to TNA (formerly Impact Wrestling) at Final Resolution, where she attacked Jordynne Grace following her match against Rosemary. Her return was met with loud chants of “she’s a racist” from the audience.

Tessa Blanchard’s new boyfriend is Esfinge, and they have openly shared their relationship on social media.
The love birds are often spotted together, and recently, they shared a picture welcoming the new year 2025. He is a masked professional wrestler, but his revealed face is hidden with a heart sign.
Upon her return to TNA, Esfinge posted pictures of Tessa on his Instagram story with an “I Love You” sticker and mentioned,
“You know what you must do; you are trendy and successful.”
Over the years, the lovebirds have developed a strong relationship and an inseparable bond. Their relationship was based on mutual support and a shared interest in professional wrestling.
Esfinge, in his first reign, is the current Mexican National Light Heavyweight Champion. As a masked wrestler, his private life is kept a secret from the wrestling fans.
Like Tessa’s family, his father, Magnum, is a professional wrestler, and his grandfather wrestled under the ring Halcon Furia.
Esfinge, meaning in Spanish, is Sphinx, but before that, he wrestled with a ring named Halcon Furia Jr. Similarly, his uncle used the same name for years.
He debuted in professional wrestling in 2009 and was one of eight wrestlers who competed in a Steel cage match, where the last wrestler would be forced to unmask under Luchas de Apuestas rules in September 2012.
However, six wrestlers eventually escaped the ring, and Esfinge defeated In Memoriam, who unmasked and revealed his name as per Lucha Libre traditions.
Moreover, he defeated Puma to win the Occidente Light Heavyweight Championship on December 5, 2017.
Some sources have claimed that Tessa cheated on her husband with Esfinge.

Tessa Blanchard confirmed her engagement with fellow wrestler Miguel Olivo, better known by the ring name Daga, on November 10, 2019.
The lovebirds married in August 2020 but began having ups and downs, which eventually led to their separation in January 2023.
