Centreville, Illinois, Basketball Player Terrence Curry has been killed, according to his Mom, Valerie Thomas Curry.
Valerie announced the news of the passing on her social media platform, but has not confirmed the nature of the death.
She wrote on Facebook, “My son, Terrence Curry was killed today. Please keep me and my family in your prayers. This was him on Monday at a basketball game celebrating his birthday. Love you until eternity.”
Terrence, a basketball player and a massive fan of the sport, was also present during the Denver Nuggets’ game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
He also got the chance to step into the court and click a photo with Peyton Watson and GG Jackson.
Curry, though a former High School/College basketball and football player, didn’t make it professionally; he chose a different field, studying engineering and Culinary Arts.
Nonetheless, he is a huge basketball fan who has followed the NBA all over his life.
Tributes Pour for Curry
Curry today even posted, “What a G Day celebration. Had a ball”, but just a couple of hours later, his mother announced the devastating news to the Community.
After the unfortunate passing, many came to grieve and offer condolences.
Jennifer Hansen-ingebresten wrote, “I’m asking God to be near to you—closer than ever. May He wrap you in His peace, surround you with love, and give you gentle moments of rest in the middle of this unimaginable pain. Let His presence bring you comfort, may His love steady your heart, and may you feel His hand guiding you through each day, one breath at a time.
Ayeetn Emmanuel added, “This is sad News. What a mind-boggling tragedy. May God console you and the entire family.”
Sindra E.Jenkin also poured the tribute, “OhMyGosh!!! I’m devastated for you, your family, and all whose hearts are broken by this loss! Praying God’s strength to be your portion, and peace that surpasses understanding.”
Many are often devastated by the news of Curry, who just celebrated his birthday by heading to the NBA games.
Kemisha Hollingsworth consoled Curry’s mother, “No, I am so devastated! Lord Help me!!! Valerie I am so sorry so sorry. I Love you so much. I Love you cuz!!! We just talked the other day.”
Erice SA also wrote, “This is the worst time of the year for many. I am so sorry this happened to your family. I send love, hugs, and my condolences to you and your family.”
