Deshaun Watson (Texans)
6'2, 215 lbs
Despite getting sacked 62 times, Deshaun Watson had one heck of a fantasy season last year. He gets it done with both his legs and his big arm. Last year Watson passed for 4165 yards with 26 TDs to only 9 INTs. Those numbers alone would be pretty good for a fantasy season, and he added 551 rushing yards and another 5 TDs.
Watson has the number one fantasy receiver DeAndre Hopkins to work with. If Will Fuller can ever stay healthy, and Keke Coutee can stay on the field, he'll have one of the best 3 receiver sets in football. The Texans, unfortunately, lost Lamar Miller in the preseason, but have a great receiving back in Duke Johnson to take his place, which should be a plus for Watson.
The Texans drafted an offensive tackle in both the first and second round of the NFL draft. The team is also rumored to be looking to trade for Laremy Tunsil and Trent Williams which would boost the quarterbacks' outlook even more.
With a stable full of talented receivers, reinforcements on the offensive line, and the rushing bonus you get, Watson could be in the running to top one Patrick Mahomes as the #1 overall fantasy QB. He's still only 23 and only going to get better. Just grab a good backup QB because of all the hits he takes.
