QB Jared Goff 2019 Fantasy Outlook

# 8 QB Jared Goff 2019 Fantasy Outlook

Jared Goff (Rams)

6'4, 222 lbs

In just his 3rd season, Goff balled out all the way to the Super Bowl and was a legitimate MVP candidate. His numbers have gone up every year, and if he can do that again in his fourth year he could be a top 5 fantasy QB. Last year he put up 4688 passing yards and 32 TDs.

Sean McVay is an offensive genius and he's in Goff's ear on every play. All three receivers (Cooks, Woods, Kupp) have 1000 yard potential and Todd Gurley is one of the best receiving backs in the league. If Gurley's knee can't hold up, the Rams can turn to 3rd round draft pick Darrell Henderson to pick up the slack. This is a team loaded at the skill positions.

Goff is in a contract year which is always a bonus in fantasy. That big contract seams to provide a little extra motivation for a player. His passing yardage alone should provide a safe floor and a TD progression should be there too. If the Rams go a little more pass-heavy because of Gurley, he offers a high ceiling as well.

He's in a great offense that has great weapons and he's only getting better. With 3804 yards in year two, 4688 in year three, 5000 would work in year four. He's a safe pick with a high ceiling.
