#10 QB Russell Wilson 2019 Fantasy Outlook

Russell Wilson (Seahawks)

5'11, 215 lbs

Wilson is one of the best QBs in the NFL and has been an absolute stud the last few years in fantasy. While he did have another nice season, his numbers did regress a little finishing with a stat line of 3448 passing yards and 35 TDs and only 7 INTs. He chipped in some rushing but those numbers were down to only 376 yards and 0 TDs.

Wilson's passing yards were so low because of the Seahawks change in philosophy to a ground and pound offense. Seattle finished number 1 in the league in rushing with 2560 yards. After averaging over 4000 passing yards the previous three seasons, Wilson's attempts dipped to only 427 and the numbers showed it.

The Seahawks have lost Doug Baldwin, but he wasn't the same player last year anyway, and Tyler Lockett has always had the talent. The team also drafted freakish D.K Metcalf in the second round who goes 6'3, 229 and he runs a 4.33 forty. The team has also finally invested in the offensive line, and that never hurts your fantasy QB.

The Seahawks are still going to be a running team featuring Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny. Wilson's 35 passing TD's saved his fantasy season last year, but that is going to be hard to do again. He's still good, just not elite in fantasy.
