TE Evan Engram 2019 Fantasy Outlook

#4 TE Evan Engram 2019 Fantasy Outlook

Evan Engram (Giants)

6'3, 240 lbs

After a monster rookie season where he fished as the 5th overall fantasy tight end, Engram had a bad hammy last year and ended up missing 5 games. He put up some nice numbers when he did play and averaged the 7th most fantasy points per game at the position, finishing with a stat line of 45 receptions for 577 yards and 3 TDs.

The best thing working for Engram is the departure of ODB. The Giants only have an aging Golden Tate (suspended) and Sterling Shepard to compete with for targets. Engram has been an elite tight end in the games he's played without Beckham in the lineup, and he could end up being the number one receiving option in this offense.

At 6'3 and 240 pounds, he's built more like a big receiver and he's a matchup problem for safeties and linebackers. The former first-round pick blazed a 4.42 forty at the combine and that speed translates to field. Engram is an absolute stud, and he is the next man up after the "big 3".

He's got the draft pedigree, ODB is in Cleveland, and he's not going to cost you as much draft capital if you want in on tight ends. High ceiling and a high floor.
