American former professional football quarterback Robert Griffin III, nicknamed RGIII or RG3, met Rebecca Liddicoat in 2009 through a mutual friend while at Baylor.
After dating for several years, they married on Saturday, July 6, 2013, at the Denver Four Seasons in Denver, Colorado.

After separating from Rebecca, Robert Griffin III and Grete Griffin, 31, made their relationship public in August 2016 and engaged on May 13, 2017.
Grete is an Estonian heptathlete who placed fourth at the 2010 World Junior Championships in Moncton, Canada. With a record of 5706 points, she is just one point behind Helgad Margret Thorsteinsdottir.

The couple married on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at an extravagant wedding in Miami, Florida, among family and friends.
