Brice went into cardiac arrest this morning; no reason as his heart tests are unremarkable. So no answer why this happened. They had to shock his heart 13x total.

Basically they have him stable and waiting to see if swelling in brain goes down. There have him on an external pacemaker and ECHMO. They did a couple brain scans and initial ones did not look good. But he’s young and they are doing all they can to try to let him heal and see how he responds.
Everson was an organ donor, and his final act of generosity will allow a part of him to live on in others.
His family has encouraged loved ones to wear blue to his funeral services, a color that symbolized his strength and spirit.

Brice was born on January 5, 1998, in Clinton, Iowa, to parents Wade and Tricia Everson.
He grew up in Camanche, Iowa, alongside his three brothers: Noah, Cade, and Owen.
His parents, who still reside in Camanche, described him as a determined and compassionate individual who made a lasting impact on everyone he met.

The couple, who had recently rescued two cats, Tito and Jameson “JJ,” were eagerly planning their wedding, set for November 7, 2026.

At Camanche High School, he was a two-time state placer and a state finalist, earning recognition as a leader in the wrestling community.
His passion for the sport led him to Wabash College in Indiana, where he competed for two years before transferring to Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.
At Loras, Brice became a key member of the wrestling team, helping the Duhawks achieve national success.
In 2019, he qualified for the NCAA Nationals and was ranked fourth nationally at 133 pounds.
That same year, Loras snapped Wartburg College’s 27-year conference championship streak.
His dedication to wrestling earned him the title of Wrestler of the Week in February 2019 after a standout performance against a defending national champion.

After graduating from Loras College in 2020 with a degree in Economics and a minor in Wealth and Financial Management, Brice pursued a career in finance.
He worked at several firms before landing his dream job as a Wealth Financial Advisor at Frost Bank in San Antonio.
Known for his work ethic and dedication, Brice quickly excelled in his role, earning the respect of his colleagues and clients.
