Cristiano Ronaldo, a Portuguese professional footballer, and his long-term partner, Georgina Rodriguez, lost their newborn son, Angel, in April 2022.
The 39 year-old footballer shared a heartbreaking post on his Instagram announcing the demise of his son, who was one of the couple’s twin babies.
Furthermore, Ronaldo stated,
“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away; it is the greatest pain that any parents can feel.“

He stated that his girlfriend Georgina arrived home, and the children started to ask about the other baby.
Initially, the couple hid the news from their other child; however, one week later, Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina decided to be honest with the kids, which was devastating to the family.
Ronaldo also stated that the family talks about Angel daily and remembers him.

Though the tragic demise of Angel was difficult for Cristiano Ronaldo, he is now a joyful father of five children.
Moreover, he regards his family as his life and continues to love his children alongside his partner, Georgina Rodriguez.
