Dan Hurley might be a fierce college basketball coach on the court, but he is a loving husband and proud dad at home.
The University of Connecticut head coach leads a happy family of four along with his wife of over 25 years, Andrea Hurley (née Sirakides).

Both Dan Hurley and his wife, Andrea Hurley, graduated from Seton Hall University in New Jersey.
The couple got married on 29 August 1997 at the Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury wedding venue in their state.
The couple celebrated their 27th anniversary in August 2024. The college basketball coach’s spouse wrote,
When Andrea met Dan at Seton Hall, she had no idea about his famous basketball family.
Dan Hurley’s father, Bob Hurley, was the legendary coach of St. Anthony High School in Jersey City, winning 26 state championships over 39 years.
In addition, his brother, Bobby Hurley, was a star player at Duke University and later became the head coach at Arizona State University.

The Hurley couple’s first son, Danny or Daniel Hurley, was born on 1 July 1999. They welcomed their second son, Andrew Hurley, on 30 January 2002, three years later.
The basketball coach is incredibly proud of both sons and says they are similar to him.
Both of the Hurley brothers played basketball under their dad’s coaching while attending St. Benedict High School in Newark, New Jersey.
Dan has always valued being a present and supportive father. He said that he stayed in high school coaching longer than he needed to for his sons.
Danny pursued a different career path. He graduated from Seton Hall in 2021 with a degree in history.
Since then, he has worked as an aide to the governor of New Jersey and now serves as a legislative aide for Senate President Scutari.
Furthermore, Andrew is a guard for the UConn basketball team under his father’s coaching.
