Since his career began in 2020, Chris Olave has been hospitalized for injuries many times. He has suffered a total of five severe concussions since 2020.

In 2024, he suffered three major concussions and two in one season of NFL 2024.

The first concussion occurred during Week 6 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on October 13, 2024. He collided with an opponent, and a major stuck hit his head.

After that, he returned in week 8 and played the game against the Los Angeles Chargers, losing the game by a score of 26-8.

However, the Saints were expected to make a comeback in the next match in Week 9 of this season. They lost to the Carolina Panthers, 23-22.

In the same game, Chris Olave met his second concussion of this season. Carolina’s player defensive back Xavier Woods collided with Olave midway through the first quarter as he reached for a pass from Quarterback Derek Carr.

After the collision, Chris remained motionless on the ground as a New Orleans medical staff member tended to him.
