Clemson Tigers shooting guard Chase Hunter was born on October 31, 1999, to parents Brice and Brandi Hunter.
Hunter grew up alongside his two brothers, Jaden and Dillon Hunter, in Atlanta, Georgia.
He developed a passion for basketball from an early age. While he is still young and pursuing a college basketball career, his athleticism and dedication have garnered significant attention.
However, his dedication does not end with sports. The talented Tigers player is equally diligent in academics and pursuits off the court.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Chase graduated with a bachelor’s degree in science in parks, recreation, and tourism development.
Similarly, Chase is a student-athlete development intern. Furthermore, he is passionate about real estate, music, and entrepreneurship.
Hence, his diverse interests and talents emphasize his wonderful upbringing and support system.
His parents, Brice and Brandi, created an ideal environment for him to grow and excel.
Chase comes from a highly athletic background, inheriting the best athleticism from his parents.
While his father, Brice Hunter, was a professional football player, his mother, Brandi, excelled in college basketball.
Born on April 21, 1974, Brice H. Hunter started his journey to professional football by playing college football for the Georgia Bulldogs.
His collegiate career lasted from 1992 to 1995, during which he was first-team All-SEC in 1993 and second-team All-SEC in 1994.
Then, he started his NFL career after the Miami Dolphins selected him in the 7th round of the 1996 NFL draft.
Besides the Dolphins, Brice played for other NFL teams like the San Francisco 49ers (1996) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1996-1998).
Meanwhile, Brandi Hunter played college basketball at Georgia. Beyond appearing in the Final Four of the NCAA tournament in 1995 and 1996, she won two SEC championships.
Therefore, Brice and Brandi’s impressive sports careers inspired their athletically inclined son, Chase Hunter.
Chase’s Step Father, Ryan Lewis, Is Very Active In His Life!
However, Brice had a brief NFL career since he passed away after being shot in 2004 outside his Chicago apartment.
He was only 29 at the time of his death. The perpetrator, Thomas Williams, shot Brice multiple times after a confrontation sparked by loud music emanating from Hunter’s flat.
However, Williams was never charged with murder since his actions appeared to be self-defense.
Authorities merely charged him with failing to register a firearm following the pre-dawn shooting.
With the untimely death of his father, Chase had no father figure to look up to and be guided and protected.
Nevertheless, his mother, Brandi, did everything to provide for her son and guide him to the right path.
Besides her excellent athletic background, Brandi is a seasoned real estate agent.
She is a Lifetime Member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors® exclusive Multi-Million Dollar Club.
Similarly, she received the prestigious Phoenix Award from the Atlanta Realtors® Association, commemorating her tenth straight year as a top producer.

Besides that, she has collaborated with Keshia Johnson and launched the wildly popular podcast Mamas On The Move.
Brandi’s accomplishments, despite the adversity, push Chase and his brother to strive for success.
She eventually married Ryan Lewis in 2017, who became a father figure in her children’s lives.
Ryan keeps a low profile, and there is scarce information about him in the public domain.
However, Brandi occasionally shares a few glimpses of her time with Ryan, referring to him as Mr. Low Key, Mr. Get It Done, and Mr. Too Cool For School.
Her Instagram posts demonstrate her deep gratitude to him.
Furthermore, according to Brandi, Ryan has influenced Chase’s athletic endeavors.
Being a former player and just knowing the game of basketball and also just knowing his capability, I’m definitely able to give him constructive criticism which he receives well from me and my (new) husband, who is also a great influence on Chase as well.”
