Charvarius Ward, an American professional football cornerback for the San Francisco 49ers, mourns the tragic loss of his 23-month-old daughter, Amani Joy Ward.

Afterward, the Dallas Cowboys signed Charvarius to a three-year contract on April 30, 2018, but transferred to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for Parker Ehinger on August 30.
Moreover, on March 17, 2022, he signed a three-year contract with the San Francisco 49ers and helped the team reach Super Bowl LVIII.
Charvarius Ward’s Mother Raised Her Working In Factories
Charvarius Ward, the second son of Garland Ward and Tanya Ward, was born on May 16, 1996. He grew up with his brother Charvoun in McComb, Mississippi.
The Ward brothers played football at the McComb High School. Their ethnic background is African-American.

Charvarius’s father was in prison, and his mother raised both kids herself, working in factories in their hometown.
He grew up in a low-income family with limited food and had no idea what the future contained. He leaped off a porch in childhood and complained about hip pain.

He was very skinny.
Charvarius transitioned to a homebody at around 9, as he couldn’t swim, ride a bike, or play football. He was afraid to be seen in a wheelchair and never went outside.
He built a close bond with his mother and grandmother at that moment. They assisted him with his daily tasks, including taking a bath.
Moreover, the football player was motivated to repay his parents and bought his mother a home outside of Dallas.
He was raised in Community Park Apartments and got a tattoo of it on his chest to recall the difficult times. His mother referred to the apartments as ghetto.
Furthermore, Charvarius preferred to be called by his childhood nickname, Mooney. However, neither he nor his mother knows the origin of the name.
Everybody in my family has got a nickname. Nobody gets called by their real name. It’s just a Mississippi thing, I guess.
