He fondly recalled when Caleb first joined the MMT family during their first year of production of Hairspray.
Louis remembered Caleb’s signature pencil turn, always performed with a smile, and how he’d do it whenever he had a brief moment of free time.
Louis also recalled the joy of having Caleb and his husband, Todd Duffy, attend their daughter’s adoption party and their heartfelt conversation about welcoming foster children into their home.
He ended with a poignant tribute, saying,
“Good night, sweet prince, and may flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.”
Only in July 2024 did Caleb share that he and Todd had recently become licensed foster parents.
They were spending the weekend at Knoebels with a 4-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl, whom they were temporarily caring for as part of a respite arrangement.
Todd has remained silent about the situation, subtly expressing his emotions by changing his profile picture to one of him and Caleb together, holding an umbrella.
