In a 2019 interview with People, the former NFL player said that he is more appreciative than ever for Hough, who has been a “warrior” through the process.
Knowing she has endometriosis, they understood it could make natural conception challenging in the future, which is why they decided to start IVF.
Additionally, the America’s Got Talent judge also froze some of her eggs in 2018.
“The commitment that she made to us having a family is something I’ll never forget,” he added.
The former ice hockey player also noted that certain things in his wife’s life that he knew she appreciated helped her feel calm and relaxed.
