BHS Football Player Jaden Connor, 24, Dies In Fatal Car Accident, Leaving His Parents Ingrid And RJ Heartbroken

Jaden Connor was with his three friends in an overspeeding car.

Sauk Prairie, Wisconsin, Jaden Connor Fargen tragically passed away due to a car accident on February 1, 2025. He was only 24 at the time of his demise.

Bangor High School’s student-athlete was known for his kind heart and infectious laughter, which could be heard across the room.

Since childhood, Jaden was adventurous and always jumped off cliffs, doing flips regardless of location. He loved sports and was a big Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball team fan.

He enjoyed playing different sports with his friends at his high school, where he set the record for the longest touchdown run, 97 yards, in his senior year. 

Moreover, he participated in two state championships with his basketball and football teams.

Jaden Connor’s Lost His Life In A Car Accident

Jaden Connor Fargen lost his life at a young age in a fatal car accident. He was a passenger in a tragic car accident and was taken from his parents far too soon. 

He was in an Overspeed car with his friends and could not negotiate the exit ramp due to its high speed and rollover. Among the four friends, two were ejected from the vehicle.

Jaden always lived his life the way he wanted and woke up every day happily, looking forward to the day filled with his love for his friends and family.

He wore his heart on his sleeve and adored children and animals. He had done everything for his loved ones, and his conversations were always intentional, whether a minute or an hour.

His hugs were healing, and he never left without hearing “I Love You” from his loved ones. Likewise, his light will keep shining through everyone who loves him.

His mother, Ingrid, step-father Rj Herken, and siblings Denna Fargen, Emila Fargen, Tysen Herken, and Sarah French survive him.

Furthermore, his grandparents, Joseph Fargen, Patricia Fargen, Steven Harris, and Debra Harris, will undoubtedly miss him.

His father, Chirs, grandparents, Richard and Paula Herken, uncles Rick Herken and Jimmy Clarke, cousin Jesse Parker, and aunt Amy Herken passed away before him.

Nontheless, his visitation and funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 9, at the Gathering Place, 133 Mason Street, Onalaska, Wisconsin. In place of flowers, his family requested donations to finance the funeral costs.

Coulee Region Cremation Group is arranging his funeral, and his celebration of life will follow after the funeral. 

His family has organized a GoFundMe fundraiser intending to raise $15000 to cover the unexpected financial burden of medical and funeral expenses. 

Jaden Connor’s Family Mourns The Tragic Loss

Jaden Connor Fargen, the son of Chris Fargen and Ingrid Harris Herken, was born on December 3, 2000, in Sauk Prairie, Wisconsin.

He lived entirely of unconditional love and was happiest around his loved ones. He enjoyed being a part of a big family and inspired many with his dedication and talent as a football player.

Jaden was a devoted brother and son, a fun-loving cousin, nephew and grandson, a loyal friend, a daredevil, a good listener, and a sports lover.

His family called him “Jadey Boy,” and he was a proud brother who fiercely protected his siblings. He spent several weekends with his family and friends, enjoying water sports at Lake Petenwell.

Moreover, his Auntie Birdie spoiled him during their numerous trips to Chicago, where they had fun adventures in the city and endless days at the horse farm.

Unfortunatley, his father passed away, and his mother married RJ Herken, with whom Jaden played backyard golf and watched every sporting event.

He loved to cook with his mother, trying Gordon Ramsey’s recipes while listening to the latest music in the kitchen. The mother-son duo often had long talks at the kitchen table together.

  • On June 1, 2020, Jaden Connor worked two months as an assembly worker at Konkel Customs in Rockland, La Crosse County, Wisconsin.
  • He was likely single at the time of his tragic demise due to a car accident.
