Bethany Meilani Hamilton, 34, born on February 8, 1990, is an American professional surfer who survived a shark attack in 2003 in which her left arm was bitten off.

Andrew Samuel Hamilton, 3, was born in Oahu, Hawaii, on December 6, 2020. Sadly, he passed away on October 17, 2024, following a drowning accident in the bathtub.
Andrew was found unconscious and not breathing inside a bathtub on October 11, 2024.
The boy was 15 feet away from the kitchen and living room when his parents found him.
His parents soaked him in Epsom salts and six inches of water after he came down with a fever.
After they were able to get a heartbeat with chest compressions, he was brought to the hospital and later medevacked to Kapiolani in Oahu on the morning of October 12, 2024.
The whole family went to Oahu with Andrew at Kapi’olani Children’s Hospital, where Andrew was on life support in the PICU Unit receiving emergency care.
