He then had a short stint with the Los Angeles Rams before signing a low-cost, “prove it” kind of deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2023.

During these years, there were several moments when people wondered what was wrong with him and what would happen.
In an interview, the athlete revealed how he trusts God’s plan and remains composed.
“God’s got a plan. So I just trust in that and take it one day at a time, and good things will happen.”

In July 2023, the NFL player and his wife, Emily Wilkinson, attended a Jesus-faith-based conference with other NFL couples.

“It is so fulfilling, and such a nice reset in our marriage, not to mention a perfect time to connect with other like-minded couples in the NFL.”
In addition, Emily also recommended the conference to other NFL, NHL, and MLB couples.
