Atlanta Hawks Trae Young’s Wife Shelby Miller Was Trolled For Preparing Small Dinner Meal While Expecting Her Second Child

Once, People joked that Trae Young’s wife, Shelby Miller, probably spent more time creating and posting the graphic online than actually preparing the meal itself.

On October 23, 2024, in the Atlanta Hawks‘ season opener, Trae Young scored 30 points, added 12 assists, and grabbed five rebounds in a 120–116 victory over the Brooklyn Nets.

In the following game, on October 25, he scored 38 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds, and four steals, leading the Hawks to a 125–120 win against the Charlotte Hornets.

With these performances, Young became just the second player in NBA history, alongside Oscar Robertson, to record back-to-back games with at least 30 points and 10 assists to start a season.

Trae Young announced his engagement to long-time girlfriend Shelby Miller in a December 2021 Instagram post.

However, the portion size appeared relatively small, and people quickly took to social media to mock her, commenting on how little food was served.

People quickly took to social media to joke that the dinner portion was so small that it looked like they were serving better meals at Fulton County Jail.

Also, someone joked that it was “struggle meals on a $200 million contract,” implying that even with a massive salary, the person was still living frugally, perhaps going through tough times despite the wealth.

Others pointed out Miller was pregnant with a second child and eating a small portion of pasta for dinner.

They suggested that Trae hire a full-time chef to help with meals. Additionally, they joked that even their four-year-old could put together something more satisfying.
