Then he returned to the Philadelphia Eagles from 1999 until 2005, when he retired. In 2001, he was awarded the Eagles Ed Block Courage Award.

He came out of retirement in 2012 to rejoin the Eagles after the firing of Jim Washburn to finish the season.

After head coach Andy Reid left the Eagles and was hired by the Chiefs, Brasher was among the assistant coaches who followed Reid to Kansas City.

Before his passing, he was working on special projects for the Chiefs. He will be remembered for his unforgettable contribution to football as a coach and player.

Christy Brasher Shiers is a full-time real estate managing broker at Windermere Real Estate in Bellevue, Washington, United States.

According to her LinkedIn profile, she studied for a Bachelor of Science at the University of Puget Sound from 1994 to 1998.

In 2000, she got a master’s degree in teaching from the University of Washington.

She has been serving as the director of the Environmental science program at the YMCA of Greater Seattle and YMCA Camo Orkila.

Additionally, she has been serving as a Real Estate Broker at Coldwell Banker Bain in Mercer Island, WA, since July 2019.

Recently, as a tribute to her father, Christy shared a family photo on her Facebook page showing her and her mother attending Tommy’s last game as a coach.
