He played in the Cape Cod Baseball League with the Cotuit Kettleers and was named to the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team.
Moreover, he announced his transfer to Louisiana State University (LSU) for the 2025 season and was slotted second into LSU’s starting rotation.
I would say for me, specifically, just more of the attacking mindset. That’s pretty much what I’ve mainly gained from being here. Just really attacking. I have a great group of guys behind me on defense that are going to make the play almost every time. It’s a lot easier just to go right at the hitter and trust them.

Anthony Scott Eyanson, the son of Jeff and Kristen Eyanson, was born on October 9, 2004, in Long Beach, California.
He always has a strong support system from his parents. Jeff works as a professor, and Kristen works in a chiropractic office.

Anthony Eyanson Suffered From A Rare Digestive Disease, Achalasia
Kristen Eyanson fought back tears as she looked at her 10-year-old son, Anthony, who had withered to skin and bones.
In just a month, Anthony had dropped from 107 pounds to 75, his body ravaged by achalasia, a rare digestive disease that prevents the esophagus from moving food into the stomach.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, Achalasia primarily affects adults aged 25 to 60, with only 5% of cases occurring in children under 16.
Every meal became a struggle. Food felt stuck in his throat, and within 30 minutes of eating, he would vomit. His body rejected nearly everything, except Pepsi and Pringles, the only things he could tolerate.
The frustration of knowing there’s something wrong and knowing that we need to do something, but knowing that it’s out of our hands and there’s nothing that we can do… it kind of just frustrates you as a parent.

Kristen rushed Anthony to the emergency room after a doctor took one look at him and insisted on immediate hospitalization. He underwent tests and treatments for 15 days at Long Beach Memorial Hospital.
Despite his deteriorating health, Anthony never stopped playing baseball. Even at his weakest, he pitched and played third base for his 10-and-under All-Star team, helping them win a championship.
Anthony finally received a Heller Myotomy, a surgical procedure to treat achalasia.
During recovery, he obsessively watched food shows like “Man vs. Food,” dreaming of the day he could eat normally again.
