In 1995, he worked for the American Wrestling Federation, and after the AWF dissolved, World Championship Wrestling hired him.
He trained at the WCW Power Plant alongside other wrestlers like Bill Goldberg, Ron Reis, Lodi, Christie Wolf, Shane Helms, Chuck Palumbo, Jimmy Yand, and Allan Funk.
Dale tagged with Chad Fortune and was known as “The Pit Crew.” Later, he portrayed The Demon, a gimmick modeled on the stage persona of Kiss bassist Gene Simmons.
Furthermore, he returned to baseball as a strength coach when the World Wrestling Federation bought WCW in 2001.
After performing two matches for the Xcitement Wrestling Federation in November 2001, he retired from wrestling.
However, on December 8, 2005, he appeared on an episode of TNA Impact! with White Sox catcher A. J. Pierzynski. Their appearance was one of the highest-rated episodes for TNA.

Their relationship was built on mutual support and shared interest in bodybuilding and professional wrestling.
Christi modeled for bikinis and Hawaiian Tropic while practicing bodybuilding. She has won several titles on both the state and national levels as a bodybuilder.
She debuted in wrestling as a head nurse to tend to Ric Flair when his storyline was put into a mental institution in April 1999. Later, she was introduced as Double D and appeared at the Bash at the Beach.
On October 25, she appeared as Asya, the newest member of the Revolution, who kidnapped The Animal’s manager, Torrie Wilson.
She tagged with Dean Malenko and defeated Rey Mysterio Jr. and Torrie Wilson on the November 8 episode of Nitro.
Moreover, Asya disguised as a Sting fan at ringside, and The Demon (Dale Torborg) appeared in the ring while the announcers revealed they were legit engaged.
When Dale retired from his Demon Gimmick, Vampiro took Asya away and demanded he become the Demon again.
Afterward, she was injured in a storyline by an explosion during her entrance to the ring. When Torborg is in the hospital with her, a hooded figure is revealed later as Vampiro hands him the Demon costume.
Christi was released from her WCW contract on August 25, 2000.
Dale Torborg’s Injuries Forced Him To Quit Baseball
Dale Torborg played college baseball for the Northwestern Wildcats and pursued professionally, joining the Kingsport Mets of the Appalachian League.
His father, Jeff Torborg, was a Major League Baseball manager who helped him become a better sportsperson. Sadly, Jeff passed away at 83 due to Parkinson’s disease on January 19, 2025.

Dale faced two severe injuries that kept him away from baseball.
He attempted to pick off a runner while playing first base and broke his humerus bone when his arm was tangled with the base runner’s arm.
Similarly, his second injury that ended his baseball career occurred when he took a fastball to the face, breaking his zygomatic bone. It caused a change in his depth perception.
After ending his wrestling career, he became a coach for the Montreal Expos and worked alongside his father, the team’s manager.
His duties included strength and conditioning coaching, assisting with infield drills, and batting practice pitchers. Similarly, he was the strength and conditioning coach during his father’s tenure with the Florida Marlins.
Chicago White Sox baseball team hired him as their roving strength trainer in January 2004. He was part of two World Champion baseball teams: the 2003 Marlins and the 2005 White Sox.
