However, it was one of the worst accidents he encountered during a WCW European Tour 1994. It was a show in Munich, Germany.

Mick Foley was playing as Cactus Jack, his stage name then. The match was against the Late great Big Van Vader.

On the match of March 16, 1994, in between the match, Mick Foley began the dreaded hangman move. It was later reported that neither wrestler knew the ring ropes were wrapped in a rubber casing to make them extra tight.

Not knowing the situation, Foley began hangman move, and his neck got caught, making it difficult for him to move.

However, after minutes of struggle, Mick managed to free himself. However, his ears were split and bleeding.

Continuing the match, he began trading blows with Vader, and then Vader reached up, grabbed Cactus’s right ear, and ripped it off.

Foley played the whole match despite the injury and was later rushed to the hospital. However, it was not possible to reattach the ripped part of the ear.

Although Mick Foley was injured in his external year, he does not have hearing issues. Both of his ears are well-functioning.
