Their Jewish heritage was revealed by the boxer’s elder sibling in a 2016 YouTube video filmed at their great-aunt’s funeral.

During the video, their mother Pamela mentioned their Jewish ancestry, which surprised Logan.

She explained that their great-grandmother, Lillian Mae Meredith (Buxbaum), and her father, Isidore “Harry” Buxbaum, were of Jewish descent.

The Buxbaums emigrated from Germany to the United States and settled in Massachusetts. Isidore was buried in a Boston cemetery after his death in 1949.

Jake Paul Shared His Father’s Strict Parenting Style

Logan and Jake Paul have shared that their father, Greg Paul, was very strict with them growing up.

“Our parents were very strict mainly my dad. It was always Logan and me against him,” revealed Jake in the Netflix documentary about his life.

However, Logan described their father as intense and tough. Jake doesn’t hold any resentment toward his father’s strict parenting.

He understands why his dad was tough on them and doesn’t mind it.

“I would slap myself. I don’t mind. I understand why he did that… it’s all he knew.”
