The professional surfer Bethany Hamilton’s nephew, Andrew, passed away due to drowning.
Bethany Meilani Hamilton, 34, born on February 8, 1990, is an American professional surfer who survived a shark attack in 2003 in which her left arm was bitten off.

After Nick unmasked the “unstoppable inspiration,” Bethany noted it was a challenge to participate in The Masked Singer. She said,
“I’m more of a wave rider but it was really cool to do something that is out of our comfort zone and have fun with it,” “and I did that and had so much fun.”

“To me, being unstoppable is not about being perfect,” “I’m a mother of four and some days you get to the end of the day you’re just like wiped out. However, she was eliminated from Group C Premiere, making her the first amputee to compete on the show.
The surfer said she still enjoyed her brief appearance on the show but needed to hit the right notes to ensure another round.
She was the latest celebrity to be unmasked, revealed to be a star under the Macaron costume on Wednesday’s episode, as the show’s Group C competition got underway.
Hamilton is no stranger to reality television, having done everything from a celebrity diving competition to a season of The Amazing Race.
So when The Masked Singer called, she was happy to sign up but revealed that she didn’t know singing would be involved.

Andrew Samuel Hamilton, 3, was born in Oahu, Hawaii, on December 6, 2020. Sadly, he passed away on October 17, 2024, following a drowning accident in the bathtub.
Andrew was found unconscious and not breathing inside a bathtub on October 11, 2024.
The boy was 15 feet away from the kitchen and living room when his parents found him.
His parents soaked him in Epsom salts and six inches of water after he came down with a fever.
After they were able to get a heartbeat with chest compressions, he was brought to the hospital and later medevacked to Kapiolani in Oahu on the morning of October 12, 2024.
The whole family went to Oahu with Andrew at Kapi’olani Children’s Hospital, where Andrew was on life support in the PICU Unit receiving emergency care.

Andrew Samuel Hamilton was born to his father, Timothy Hamilton, and his mother, Kyah Elise Schneider. His parents tied the knot on May 20, 2012.
