Rose often worried that he wasn’t there enough for his eldest daughter, Fawn Rose, during his peak baseball years.
He shared he felt Fawn missed out the most during his career.
“The only person I felt got cheated was my oldest daughter. When I was home playing for the Reds, my son Pete would go to the ballpark with me. But because she was a girl, my daughter couldn’t come into the clubhouse with me [due to clubhouse rules of the time].”

Pete Rose’s son, Pete Rose Jr., pursued a baseball career. He played in the minor leagues and had a short stint with the Cincinnati Reds in 1997.
Rose Jr., who is currently 55 years old, later became a baseball manager after joining the Chicago White Sox’s rookie league team in Montana in 2011.

However, the late MLB player mentioned that he didn’t mind if his sons didn’t pursue professional baseball as long as they were happy with their chosen careers.
As a child, Pete Jr. was very supportive of his father’s career. He served as his batboy and appeared with his father on a 1982 Fleer baseball card titled “Pete & Re-Pete; Pete Rose & Son” when he was 12.
In his 2019 memoir, “Play Hungry: The Making Of A Baseball Player,” the late baseball player wrote that his son’s career was negatively affected by his own controversies in the sport.

Morgan Erin Rubio is Pete Rose’s third child. However, it took almost two decades for Rose to acknowledge Morgan as his daughter.
