On September 7, 2023, he signed a five-year contract extension of $275 million, making him the highest-paid player in NFL history with an average annual salary of $55 million.

Unfortunately, on November 16, he suffered a torn Scapholunate ligament in his right wrist during a game against the Baltimore Ravens and was announced to miss the remainder of the season.

Joe Burrow’s Mom Was The Principle Of Eastern Elementary School

Joe Burrow shares a close bond with his mother, Robin Burrow, who used to be part of his swag.

She is around 61 year-old and has expressed that she isn’t “swaggy” anymore. Joe is 100 percent on his own.

Eastern Elementary School’s students were impressed with her relationship with the quarterback as they are big fans of Joe. The school even has special days to celebrate him.

Robin drove to Ohio State to do her son’s laundry when he broke his hand and needed surgery. She tried to cheer him up by driving to Columbus and taking him out for vanilla ice cream.

Literally, it was silly, but I would drive up on Sundays and trade out his laundry with a new batch that was clean, so he didn’t have to worry about that.
Little things, so we could keep life as normal and stress-free as possible. Help maintain his confidence, so he’d keep pushing through it.

Robin recalled to Sports Illustrated.

Robin is the foundation’s secretary and treasurer and is heavily involved in all facets when she isn’t traveling. Their foundation is opening its first food kitchen in Athens.

Joe feels proud of her mother for her work in doing good things in the community.

Previously, she worked in the fashion industry for almost 12 years but had to give it up due to her family circumstances. She traveled with her husband a lot while he was coaching.
