The Dallas Cowboys struggled against the Detroit Lions in their sixth-week matchup at AT&T Stadium. Dak threw his second interception of the game in the third quarter, resulting in another Lions touchdown.
Later, he was moved to the bench, giving way to backup QB Cooper Rush and other second-teamers.

Dak was pulled early from the game to avoid the risk of injury to their highly-paid quarterback, as they had no chance of winning.
Mike pulled him out of the game after his second interception attempt to pass Jalen Brooks floated over the receiver’s head.
Lions defensive back Brian Branch made the catch and returned it inside the 4-yard line, bringing the score to 47-9 with 13:18 remaining in the game.
Dak threw 17 completions on 33 attempts for 178 yards before exiting the game.
He had his worst season game with a 42.2 rating after a win over Pittsburgh, where he threw for just over 350 yards and two touchdowns.
