American soccer player Ally Sentnor’s father coached her first team.

She made her senior debut against England at Wembley Stadium on November 30, coming on as an 88th-minute substitute for Lindsey Horan in the 0-0 draw.

Ally Sentnor, 21, was born on February 18, 2004, in Hanson, Massachusetts, United States, to her father, Richard, and her mother, Lee Sentnor.
Her father, Richard, used to coach her when she started playing soccer at age four. He let Ally score only with her non-dominant left foot, which helped her develop equal comfort off both feet.

Richard, an Investment Advisor Representative and co-founder of Advisory Resource Group, specializes in designing and executing insurance and financial strategies for physicians and their practices.
He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 1994.
Richard is a Massachusetts-licensed insurance broker who holds the series 7 and 63 registrations with LPL Financial and the 66 registrations with LPL Financial and Advisory Resource Group.
He started his career with Arthur Andersen and spent six years as an audit manager with the Big 5 accounting firm.
On the other hand, Ally Sentnor’s mother, Lee Sentnor, was born to her late father, James E. Byrne, and her mother, Terese Anne Byrne.
Her mother, Terese of Hanson, MA, died peacefully on August 16, 2023 at 78.

Ally Sentnor has one sister, Katelyn Sentnor, and one brother, William Sentnor.
According to Katelyn’s LinkedIn profile, she attended Thayer Academy and is raising her engineering degree at Dartmouth College.
From June 2023 to August 2023, she was an intern at Beneath The Waves and a part-time surfing instructor at Gnome Surf.
