Former football wide receiver Brandon Marshall recently appeared as a guest on the podcast show Swaggy Sie, The Encore.
An Instagram account named The Shade Room shared a clip of the show in which Brandon revealed that he is on a celibacy journey and has formed a close relationship with god after his divorce from his ex-wife, Michi Nogami.
In the clip, Brandon also mentioned that he had stopped having a physical relationship since March 2024.
He said he has learned the value of himself through his relationship with God and is waiting for a second marriage. Brandon added,
“Now I know through my walk and through my believing in God, Jesus, I know how valuable I am,”

Brandon Marshall Was Stabbed Near His Stomach By His Ex-Wife Michi Nogami
On March 1, 2009, Marshall was arrested in Atlanta for disorderly conduct after allegedly fighting with his then-fiancee, Michi Nogami-Campbell, 41. He was released on a $300 bond.
Later, the couple tied the knot on April 1, 2010, after the settlement. On April 23, 2011, Marshall was stabbed near his stomach by his wife and was taken to hospital but was released two days later.
Police later revealed that Marshall’s wife did make a brief 911 call, but it only described an unspecified emergency, and no mention of a stabbing ever took place.
Michi was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and was released on $7,500 bail.
In March 2018, Marshall partnered with the University of Michigan, the rapper Logic, Glenn Close, his wife Michi, and the Steven Schwartzberg Foundation to launch a national mental health awareness campaign titled Who Can Relate.
Despite their controversial marriage, Michi and Brandon were blessed with three children, whose identities have been kept private.
Marshall and Michi’s marriage ended following their divorce in 2018. Michi is the CEO and founder of the non-profit organization A Home For Bunny.
