Fortunately, other wrestlers and security personnel intervened to separate the two wrestlers.
Similarly, in the same video, Megan appeared puzzled and clueless about what was happening. Janela subsequently stated that she mistook the altercation for a wrestling skit.
Tonight 4 years later he flipped me and Megan’s gimmick table over, to confront me and we got into a scuffle, which resulted in the GCW crew thinking I was getting attacked by a deranged fan & Megan thinking it was some weird Joey janela skit… Sorry to all the fans that had to witness that it was an extremely embarrassing situation & sorry to all the Indianapolis crew that wanted to put on a great weekend of independent wrestling for the city. Sorry if I contributed to any of the unneeded drama.

Later, the public realized that Bostic’s actions stemmed from a past grudge.
After the incident, Bostic posted the video of his altercation on X, implying it was payback for a past incident between the two.
Likewise, Janela disclosed the reason behind Bostic’s hostility and violence—the past grudge dates back to late 2020, after the untimely demise of Brodie Lee.

Janela grew upset with Bostic because he opted to publicly complain about his experience working as an extra in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) shortly after Lee’s death.
The timing of his complaints appeared inappropriate as the wrestling world mourned Lee’s passing.
Hence, this disagreement led to tension between them. The bitterness eventually transformed into a violent altercation at the GCW “Up All Night” event in 2025.
While Janela did not press any charges against Bostic, he did say that he may have ripped his right biceps during his battle that night, which added to the chaos.
After the footage of the incident went viral, many fans supported Janela, harshly attacking Bostic for his unprofessionalism and belligerence.
